HOW TO ‘DIP DYE’ a freehand Design

  1. Firstly, separate the hair into layers. Secure the layers not to be colored.
  2. Starting with the under layer use the Pin Tool to pickup a slice of hair.
  3. Take the hair to the bend of the Pin.
    Select a CONE color to help pre guide your application of coloring products
  4. Squeeze the base of the CONE and press the Pin tips together then insert into the ‘T’ slot.
  5. Draw the tress of hair through the CONE and position along the hair.
  6. Move the CONES on the hair to ‘Map-out’ your Design. Gently squeezing the base of the CONE, to glide the CONE up/down the hair shaft.
  7. To blend, use the CONE to ‘back-comb’ each section of hair, holding some Strands outside of the CONE for adjustment
  8. Repeat. Placing each CONE at the level you want color.

Asymmetric – Dip Dye – Sweeping Curve – Geo-metric – Angular – Limitless…

  • Begin by applying the coloring product to the under layers and apply darker Tones first.
  • Then apply High lift and Bleach
  • Using the Applicator Brush paint the coloring product onto the hair inside the Cone, apply more product with the brush and push the remaining hair into the CONE.

Note: If your hair is long, paint in the CONE then turn the tress of hair around a finger and pop into the CONE. Apply more coloring product using the Applicator Brush and cover the coiled hair.

Note: When processing time is complete remove the CONES by squeezing the base and draw off the hair.

Note: Rinse your CONES out in cold water, rolling the base of the CONE between finger and thumb. Any product remaining can be loosened using the applicator brush. Shake and roll in a towel they are ready to reuse again and again.

 

HOW TO ‘BALAYAGE’ a freehand Design

  3. Take the hair to the bend of the Pin.
    Select a CONE to help pre guide your application of coloring products.
  4. Squeeze the base of the CONE and press the Pin tips together then insert into the ‘T’ slot.
  5. Draw the tress of hair through the CONE and position along the hair.
  6. Once all the CONES are in this layer, move the CONES on the hair to ‘Map-out’ your Design. Gently squeezing the base of the CONE, to glide the CONE up/down the hair shaft.
  7. To blend, use the CONE to ‘back-comb’ each section of hair, holding some Strands outside of the CONE for adjustment.
  8. Repeat the layering using the various CONE colors to guide you.
